Town & Kirk Yetholm, separated by Bowmont Water, are a pair of idyllic villages in the Scottish Borders, a stones throw from the Northumberland National Park.
The heart of Town Yetholm is the village green, surrounded by stunning terraces of thatched and stone cottages. There are two pubs, a community-owned village shop (& post office), garage with fuel pumps and a campsite!
As "Gateway to the Cheviots" suggests, The Hayloft is situated in a walker's paradise. There are walks to suit all abilities - from a lap of a loch to earn that afternoon pint; a scramble up Staerough Hill for some mighty fine views, or something a little heftier, such as St Cuthbert's Way... There are fantastic walks in all directions!
How to find us
Swan House and The Hayloft are situated opposite The Plough Hotel, just off the Village Green and the High Street (B6352) running through Town Yetholm.
If you have any trouble finding us, give us a shout.

Guest parking is located on the right hand side of Swan House, just off Deanfield Court. It's marked by two strips of paving slabs.
T H E H A Y L O F T
The Hayloft is on the left hand side of Swan House, on the lane which becomes Deanfield Bank. It has its own front door and key box.

Take the train to Berwick-upon-Tweed
Catch the 67 bus (to Galashiels), alighting in Kelso. There may be others, so please check.
Catch the 81 or 81A bus to Yetholm from Kelso.
